What stays on your phone

The lists, items and trips you create, and your settings (theme, language), are stored on your device only, in the app's own database. They never leave your phone and we have no access to them.

Deleting the app deletes this data. If your device is backed up (for example to iCloud), that backup is handled by your device settings and by Apple, not by us.

What we collect

Nothing. Besace has no account system, no analytics or crash-reporting tool, no advertising and no third-party SDK, and it does not send your data to Alexis Desmarais or to anyone else.

The catalogue of items and its icons are bundled inside the app: Besace does not need to download anything to work.

Permissions

Besace does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts or any other personal data on your device.

Children

Besace collects no data from anyone, including children.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and time of visit) for security and operation.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about your privacy, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
